@@kelvineldridge She was a Melbourne native, born and raised. It's where she passed, car accident. I remember, I was in Vancouver at the time. Right before Easter was when I got the call. She'd gone with the kids over there to visit a dying relative and introduce the twins to relatives they hadn't met. Kind of ironic. I....still haven't fully gotten over it.

@@kelvineldridge Yes the fires and the low resell value. News are sending them back to China via shipping and close some factories including VW. Worth a read for the reasons

Thanks Greg. From what I've read, statistically the chance of an EV catching fire is much lower than for an internal combustion engine. Resale value is interesting. I can't see how people justify spending so much money on the first wave of EVs, but it's people's choice what they spend their money on. For me I run my cars until they die. No resell value for me. With VW I think they made a bad business decision. From what I read they did a joint venture with a Chinese company and in the end I didn't think they'd end up competing once China ramped up their own production with lower costs. I hadn't read about companies sending EVs back to China so thanks for flagging that. Appreciate your comment.

Not so great that day, but seeing the clouds covering the tops of the buildings in the city was great.

This one doesn't, only in the direction of travel as shown in the video. However, if you check my speed camera site (www.SpeedCameraLocations.com.au) for Victoria, you'll see there's a camera covering the opposite direction on the other side of the intersection on Harding Street. Hope that helps.

The default speed limit is 100km/h, but this section has variable speed signs, so the speed can change. I don't think these would flash at night. They'd most likely use infrared flash which our eyes can't pick up.

Yes, I started driving one direction, realised I needed petrol and the Liberty was the cheapest by far in the area. Then last minute detour to Coles. But really, I often drive different routes to try to get videos of different roads.

Yes, the sale price at JB HiFi looks good. Much better than when it was $369, but I used Qantas points (which is probably a bad way to use Qantas points) as it didn't feel like money. I'm very happy with the quality of the video for the price. Some quirks but can live with them given the quality for the price.

The driving instructor did a reverse parallel park in the original video, which I've added to the audio guide instructions. I duplicated that movement in Richardson Street @06:35. You're right they didn't do a three-point turn. From the videos I've watch it appears the testing officers have a range of tasks they can add or remove from the actual test. To me that means be prepared by practising all the potential tasks to a competent level.
